It was doing the oddball pet blanket that got me ready to do a people one. Maybe because it was small. :teehee:
Yeah, Danielle, I think I’m the next knitter on Tyler’s blanket, but please don’t feel bad that you haven’t finished it yet. I’ve got arm warmers to seam up for my sister and a sweater to finish knitting for my mom. Take your time.

I’ve STILL got candy corn and hope to get it done soon if I ever get time.
I went back to work last week and we’re still adjusting to that plus christmas is sneaking up on me SO fast it isnt funny. I leave next Saturday for Ohio so I’ll work on it in the car along with some other stuff I need to get done.
I received the southwest blanket today. It’ll probably have to hold off until after christmas, but I’ll get to working on it as soon as I can!

Just checking in to say that I still have the smurfs blanket and like others am knitting as fast as I can to finish up Christmas knitting. I promise I’m not running off into the sunset with this blanket though, just caught up in the holidays. :knitting:
I kind of figured everything would sit still for a couple of weeks. No worries!

I just realized that I forgot to put a tablet in with the Southwest blanket. I can’t believe that I forgot to do that, I’m soooo sorry.
That’s ok. I’ll add a card that we can all sign. But thank you for pointing that out b/c I didn’t really look too closely to notice it wasn’t there yet. My mind is filled with a million other things!

I have Candy Corn finished and am putting a border on in black. Danielle I’ll mail it to you once I get back to Texas after Christmas as I have some other stuff that needs to go to you as well.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas holiday! I’m just about finished with Christmas knitting laugh after christmas, as usual Then I’ll get to work on Tyler’s Blanket and then the SW blanket! I hope to have them out in the next week or two!

I believe we have a space open on the smurf blanket since one member backed out. We will add her to that blanket!

PS. I know that JJ has the strawberry Sundae blanket, Knittmitchie has the Candy Corn blanket and I have 2 blankets. How is the smurf blanket coming along? I’ll update the blog this week as well! It might be good for all of us to check in too so I can everyone is still interested in knitting!

Strawberry Sundae is FINALLY in the mail to Secksiebrat! I mailed it today, the confirmation # is 0494 2435 6110 5210 6553.
I still want to be in the group, but I’m taking a bit of a break. DH and I just bought a house and will be moving soon. Needless to say, I’ll have my hands full. I’ll wait until we get settled before joining another blanket. But I’ll keep checking in to see progress of all the other blankets!
