The secret is also in the angle of the photo. (It was about 20 degrees out and verrrray windy; dh and I were freezing. He said “ONE SHOT!!” and snapped the photo as he said “ready!” Then he ran indoors. :roflhard:)

You’ve made hours and hours and hours of working on size 0 dpns worth it! (That said, I don’t want to discourage anyone from knitting these–the pattern isn’t difficult; it just requires concentration for the chart parts! My hands never hurt once–hurray for knitting with merino!!)

), wear almost the same size shoe I do, and these socks suit you very well, which is why I went with the pattern I did.

Well, my pal can rest easy. No harm came to her socks while I was watching the Superbowl. I said in my blog that I could not guarantee the safety of her socks if the Colts lost. But they won!!!@@#$!1q111! So the socks are safe!
