I prefer to knit socks one at a time using 2 circs. I often use a set of 5 dpn’s though, because the smallest size of circs I have is a US2, and I often make socks on size 0 & 1 dpn’s. they have to be metal now, I’ve snapped the size 1 bamboo dpn’s I had on accident mid sock a while ago.
