Here is a poll! I thought it might be interesting to see the results.
I think I should be able to answer “I have knit half of one sock”, but it’s not up there. Maybe I should finish my socks…that would be a solution.
I’ve knit two for me, although the first one didn’t fit very well and two for charity. I put 4, but I just remembered I knit a pair of baby socks, too.
So far I’ve made 28 (includes 2 baby socks and many slipper socks)…I have also made a ton of mini sock patterns and mini sock earrings that are not counted in that… :teehee:
I’ve knit so many pairs for my kids that I’ve lost count…:thud:
I’ve knitted 8 pair, but I’m not sure if I forgot some.
I have knitted about 25 pairs now. I never thought that this time last year I had just finished my first pair and said never again!! Then I started another pair and finished those pretty quickly and I haven’t stopped since! I always have a pair on the go.

The first pair were on DPN’s, and I swore ‘never again’, the next pair I used Silvers method on two circs, it’s so much better I’m on a third pair now.
I became an instant addict when I knit my first pair. Now, I’ve lost count of how many I’ve made, but I know it’s more than seven.

I’ve completed 3 pairs for my mom, 1 pair for my sister, 1 pair for my best friend, 2 pairs for dd, 1 pair for my niece, 4 pairs for me, and 2 pairs for DH.
OTN, I have a pair for my other sister, a pair for me and a pair for DH.
So, 14 completed, and 3 OTN
I’m almost done with my first sock of my first pair… just about done with the gusset, just have the foot and toe, then start on the second one and I’m loving making it!
I just 
to knit socks and have made over a dozen pair not including numerous baby socks and booties. (Do they count?)

I’m getting ready to cast on my first pair. I have to get some holiday knitting done first. I am excited to try the 2 circ method.
My boss lets me knit in my off time…I have knit so many socks, just cause it is a small project that is easy…this X-mas…ppl are getting socks!

In the middle of pair #7. YES, I dooooo believe I’m hooked now!
only 5 pairs or so this year,

10 the year before that
in a lifetime? less than 100 (i’ve knit more socks in past 5 years than did in previous 20!–I LOVE the 2 on 2 method, and its has change my knitting habits!)
How about a half of sock. I need to go back and finish it, so I can start the second sock.
One of them looked pretty good-the other was not exactly a match!
Oh well, I intend to try again soon!
