I knitted up this dog sweater to try out a pattern before I knit up a big one for my dog. I made a few modifications. But, since it won’t fit my dog and I know no one with a small dog. Some one is more then welcome to it. It’s 13 inches in the chest and 12 inches long. I think it may be a little to big for a Chihuahua. And preferably a girl. Don’t want to cause any doggie complexes. Only catch, you must take and post a pic of the dog wearing it for me

Where did you get the pattern?
I have a Maggie too! She’s an 8-pd mini poodle. I think the sweater is adorable. She has never worn clothes before though. Do you think she’d put up a fuss? (She’s 1-1/2 years old.)
Too bad it is pink froufy or it would be great for Howie! Or is Howie an all-color wearing dog? :lol:
Think it would fit a pomeranian? She’s a big girl (for a pom. I think she’s 15-ish lbs)
If so, I’d love to make her look all pretty with it. 
I don’t know what her chest size is though.
I’ll call my mom/brother and ask them to measure her for me. Sadly, my girl isn’t with me right now.
Here is the pattern with some modifications as mentioned. It was a little to foofoo for my taste. I may end up doing the Fun Fur vest pattern they have instead.
BTW, the chest part fit my 20 pound beagle, but the length was really short, looked like a halter top!

Well, let me know if someone else wants it more. If not, and you just want to unload it, I’ll be more than happy to make my doggie miserable by forcing her to wear more clothes. :lol:
Nah, I’m kidding. She likes wearing things, she just doesn’t like them being put on and taken off. …Weird dog.
Unfortunately Cooper is a full figured kind of guy, so probably won’t work for him, but its adorable!
