ISO: Pattern for a slouchy hat similar to this one…

Can find tons of plain slouch beanies but I’m specifically looking for the braid and button look of this one. A friend asked me to please make her one and I am not one of those people who can make something up on the fly.
The band is at a right angle to the body of the hat.
You can work the top/slouchy part from any pattern you have found. Knit a separate band piece (just a stockinette cable on garter stitch background with what looks like crochet edging).
Seam the two pieces together, or work one from the other (i.e. pick-up sts).
Or you can make the band and then pick up stitches around the edge to add the hat part.
That would be fairly easy. Just cast on and make the cable band the length you want then pick up stitches and knit the top part.
