Hi! This is the first time I am asking a question. I am making a slipper. I have gotten to the “Shape heel”. It says-bind off 12 sts beg of next 2 rows-10 sts rem. Work in Garter st on rem sts until 2 1/2 " above bind-off sts. Bind off rem 10 sts. What does this mean?
This means you would:
-Cast off 12 stitches at the beginning of one row, and then at the beginning of the next row.
-Then you knit in garter stitch for 2.5 inches after you bound off.
-Then you cast off the 10 stitches that are still left on the needle.
