Slipper socks

Hi I bought Suede Slipper Soles and it came with directions how to knit these into slipper socks. the beginning of the pattern starts out like this.

note

sl first st on every row to make firm edges.

top

begin rib pattern
row 1: sl1, {p1,k1}across , end with pl

rep row 1 for 6 inches

can anyone please help me

What don’t you understand? A slip st is just moving the st from the L to the R needle without knitting it. Do that on the ribbing, and p1 k1 across and you’ll end with p1. If the edge is to be sewn up though, it may be easier to sew if you don’t slip it, so just k1 p1 across the row.

I am sorry I should of stated that I dont get on how to attch the knitting to the Suede Slipper Soles

Read to the end of the instructions; you may be knitting a separate piece and sewing it on later.

oh my goodness you are right i just didnt read the end. i have a bad habbit about jumping into a new project and not reading it all the way threw first. thank you

I picked up a kit like this but I hate sewing, so I picked up the sts around the top of the foot to knit the upper in the round.
