I am trying to learn slip stitch knitting and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good wweb site or even a book that i can purchase so I can learn this technique… Thanks Lisa :teehee:
Uhhh, there is none really, except how to slip individual stitches. Patterns will have you slip stitches, but they’ll tell you how many and where. Go here - http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/abbreviations_explained/ - and scroll down to the sl st section and watch the videos.

I’ve seen some lovely slip stitch patterns, but they are often different so there must be various ways to do it.
Yes, they are done different ways and the individual patterns generally explain how to slip for that pattern.

I think she’s speaking slip stitch patterns such as those created by Barbara Walker in Mosiac Knitting, Roxana Bartlett’s Slip Stitch Knitting, 440 More Knitting Stitches - Volume 3 by Harmony Guides.
I ran across a couple of resources a while back when I was making a Constant Companion, which calls for doing a mosaic knitting pattern on the pocket.
You can find some basic information here.
Good luck – it’s a fun way to work w/ different colors, but it doesn’t make you want to pull your hair out.
