Does SL marker, simply mean move the marker to the next row when you finish one row and meet up with that marker?
Yes. SL=slip marker.
Usually you put the marker on the needle, and slip it from one to the other when you get to it again.
I am knitting in the round. I think the pattern wants me to to slip the marker to the same spot on the current row I am knitting on from the one below that I just finished. I hope I am doing this right. I am to increase on the K row before and after where the marker is.
Again, the marker should be on your needle, not in a stitch, and yes, when you get to it on the next row, move it from the L needle to the R one.
Okay, I have removed the markers from my stitches and put it on the needle. I see how this works much more smoothly. LOL
Live and learn!
I appreicate the help I am getting here.
Hoping this comes out right, hard to see on the in the round needles.
What I am trying to do is get an even increase along the corners of a blanket. But perhaps becuase of how I was positioning the markers to begin with it seems they are now “off the corner” and onto the side more of the piece. I wonder if I should rip out and start this part over?
When I do the increases it seemed to move things around.
If I sound like I don’t know what I am talking about it’s because I don’t…I am new at knitting in the round and increasing at corners. I don’t see an icon that shows my frustration! LOL
I think maybe you ought to go back to the first round of incs and start from there. If the markers were in the wrong place that would throw off the increase lines.
