Hiya I’m Janet - experienced knitter (or so I thought) having problems with a child’s tunic from Sirdar pattern 5295.
Just wondering if anyone else has knitted this and had issues before I explain it all.

Someone may well have knit this but go ahead and ask your question as that will be needed anyway. You can quote a couple of rows of the pattern but don’t give us a large portion due to designer copyright please.

Hi Janet. I’ve only been knitting for a few years, since I retired and funnily enough I’ve just posted about this pattern - have just started it. I see your post was from a year ago, but wondered if you worked it out. I’m confused about where it says next row (for the back) and instructs to cable every row. Surely this can’t be correct??? I’ve emailed the Sirdar help line, but they haven’t answered my question about the cabling. Many thanks. Lesley.
Can you quote exactly the row before and also the “next row” please? Yes, the pattern doesn’t look like cable every row, maybe cable twist every RS row?
Let us know the rows that are the problem and we’ll try to help.
