How do you knit a slide slit at the bottom of a sweater working from the bottom up…I’ve tried to find a video, is there a video? Thank you
Knit it as two separate pieces where you do increases one stitch away from the end at both edges. You will want some rows between each increase row. unless you want a really wide split. Then if you plan to work the sweater in the rounds, just join them by knitting around with one of the working yarns. The other working yarn you cut and weave in.

You do not need to add increases, but if you want the split to take the shape of an upside down V you need to add a bit of width as you go up.
