I am almost finished with a sweater project, but I have run out of yarn! I always way overbuy so this doesn’t happen, but somehow it did.
The yarn is Valley Yarns Northfield in the color plum. Lot number 484749. I know it’s the longest of shots, but does anyone have this in their stash? It is a house brand by WEBS American Yarn Store. I called them, but they are out of stock for any yarn in the plum color.
There are a few in stash on ravelry which don’t have the dye lot listed. If you check each stash it either has the dye lot or is left blank, you could message those who left it blank and ask if they’d be willing to sell it. There is one in your dye lot but it’s listed as being used in a project cast on this month so I don’t think that will be available.

Lovecrafts have some in plum in stock but unlikely to match your dye lot. You might have to get creative about finishing in a different colour.
Good luck in your hunt!
There’s this single skein listed on Ravelry which has the same dye lot. It’s listed as Not for Sale but that is the defaults and is often not changed. Worth a try.

I think that’s the one that has been cast on for a project.
Ah, could be. Thanks.
Another possibility is to use any dye lot you can find for sale. Often, working 2 rows with one dye lot alternately with the second dye lot is a good way to disguise the changes. Also, working ribbing in the different dye lot can mask slight differences.
