Which web site has the best shipping time?
I ordered from Webs and it is more than 3 weeks and I still didn’t get my whole order. Their comunication is not that good eather.
When I order from Kpixie.com & Kyarns.com, I usually have my order in my hands in 3 days.
Knitpicks.com ranges from 2-3 days
the other stores I frequently buy from : the loopy ewe, Lisa Souza, Blue Moon Fiber Arts & hello Yarn, usually varries between 3-7 days until I have the yarn in my hands.
ALL of the above ship out the day after I order (as long nothing needs to be custom dyed). After that, it’s all in the hands of USPS or UPS.
just as an FYI… not everybody has that kind of turn around from Knitpicks unless they use the 3 day select shipping method. Their free shipping can take up to 14 days for delivery and often does for some of us.
Unfortunately, it varies greatly. Sometimes stores give you a better idea of when things will ship in the “fine print”…usually on the shipping information page.
I got my whole Webs order in about three or four business days.
Right now, they’re probably swamped because of their anniversary sale.
Shipping times also vary based on where you live in relation to where your order is shipping from, how much you pay for shipping, weather, etc.
I never pay for shipping from knitpicks. I guess I should have mentioned that the the reason I think I get my orders from them so quickly is becasue I live about a 20 minute drive from their distribution center.
Yeah, I used to live in the state to the north of you, and would usually get my orders in about 3-4 days. That’s paying for just regular USPS shipping. Once it took about 8 days though. Forgot to look at the postmark to see how long it was in transit.

Wow, three weeks is a long time.
A few years ago, I had an order from Nordic Needle stolen right off our front porch. Well, we think it was stolen since UPS said they delivered it – but it wasn’t there when I got home.
Just double check with them if/when they sent it out. Ask if they have a tracking number.
kpixie!!!
I ordered yarn on a friday or saturday night and had it on monday morning!
I love kpixie!
yarnzilla made me wait three days to acknowledge my order, and then it was just to ask whether I still wanted the yarn (?), and then another day to process it after I said yes…
but yarnzilla has nice yarn, so that’s ok I guess.
yarn.com’s shipping is good too, but I think I am lucky because I live in MA with an amazing post office right around my the corner. but their communication is slow too, unless you call. then it is very fast!
I finaly got my order. It took longer to get it but I am very happy with the yarn . Now to go and knit :out:
