I don’t have a lot of crochet experience and before I attempted to fix this mistake myself, I thought I’d present it here in case someone knows an easy fix answer or video to point me to. Thanks😊
Ouch. I wish I could help. I did manage to sneak in a missed shell once. I don’t know how I did it. It was years ago and I just winged it.

As a non-crocheter, I wonder if a kind of duplicate stitch up and around the base of the shell above would work.

It would be easy to fix if only that part is missing but next cluster on right was mising one double crochet in the base too. In my opinion I would try to connect cluster as was circled in red and see how looks, maybe missing stitch will not be noticeable.

Try it with a short length of yarn and if you don’t like the look, you can always pull the strand through and try again. Good luck with it!
