Shawl pattern for beginning lace knitter?

Does anyone have any pattern ideas for an easy triangle shawl pattern? Maybe with an easy to follow lace edge?
Thanks!! Daisieknit

I googled and found this one: Easy Lace Triangle Shawl

There’s a bunch on this page - 336 Triangle Shawl Patterns
And you can try knitlist.com, knitty.com and elann.com All have quite a few lacy shawls.

Whoa!! That’s a lot of patterns! Thanks so much, because I just recently got interested in knitting lace shawls. :muah:

Lace is really cool. I’d rather knit it than cables or socks.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I’m sure I’ll find something from the links!

I totally agree! But then I can’t knit cables and socks! :roflhard:

I can knit cables and socks, but… I find crossing the stitches for the cables too tedious, and don’t like using smaller needles for socks. Though I’d use sock yarn for a shawl.

This was my first lace shawl project. It was fairly easy to read the stitches as you go along. The geometric design is pretty straight forward and I didn’t have any problems with it and it turned out great. There is also only one chart to follow and it gave me the confidence to move on to other more complicated patterns.

I enjoyed the Kiri shawl, a free pattern. Right now I’m knitting Girasole by Brooklyn Tweed. The pattern is available on Ravelry. You can knit a blanket or shawl with the same pattern. I think its suitable for a beginning lace knitter.
