Shaping front slpoe

Hi can anyone help I’m knitting a cardigan trying to do front slope .I have 73 stiches on pattern says dec 1 st at end of next and 7 foll 6th rows then on 9 foll 8 Ty rows. End up with 56 sts. I don’t understand which rows I’m supposed to be decreasing on

If you call the next row row 1 then the decreases are on rows
1
Then (following 6th row, seven times)
7, 13, 19, 25, 31, 37, 43
Then (following 8th row, nine times)
51, 59, 67, 75, 83, 91, 99, 107, 115

This is a total of 17 decreases.
