Shape raglan help

Hello!
I could really use some help since this is my first patterned project.
From the All sizes Shape raglans I have casted off 3 and started with the correct number of stitches, 43.
Next row: (RS) K2.K3tog. Knit to last 5 sts. Sl1k. K2tog. Psso.K2
Next row: *P1.K1…*P1
Works further 4 rows even in pat.
Repeat last 6 rows 1 more time (35 sts).

Now as I understand by knitting 3tog and Sl1k,K2tog,psso I decrease 4 sts in each row.
So if I started with 43 sts and work 12 rows in total, decreasing 4 sts x 6 (every other row)= 24
I will end up with 11 sts.

My sleeve is ending up too short.
Thanks everyone in advance.

This is a 6 row decrease pattern.
Therefore 6 rows worked twice = 12 rows.
Two decrease rows worked 43-8 = 35sts.
I am thinking there is another section of decreasing continuing from this as a raglan sleeve often decreases down to 1 st.

Welcome to KH!
row 1: (RS) K2.K3tog. Knit to last 5 sts. Sl1k. K2tog. Psso.K2
row 2: *P1.K1…*P1
Rows 3-6: Work further 4 rows even in pat

You’re right that you decrease 4sts in row 1 (I’ve renumbered the rows above). Work “even in pattern” means without any increases or decreases.
After row 6 you’ll repeat the 6 rows with another decrease of 4sts in row 1. So 8 sts total decreased leaving 35sts out of the original 43.

ETA flknit5, we’re on the same wavelength!

Thank you girls for the help.
So when I read pat, I am supposed to follow the general pattern (broken rib in my case) and not the decrease pattern…
Flknit5, you are right, there’s another section of decreasing similar to this one and with your precious help and salmonmac’s I will be able to finish my work!
Thank you again
