I am makingthis blanket and it’s all finished and ready to put together. Now… how do I do these stitches. I watched Amy’s (wonderful, as always) video on Matress stitches but I was sure that while it’s tagged as making an invisible seam, it’s not what I want.
How do I start, work, and end either a blanket or invisible stitich, and what do I use to do the stitching?
Every place I look refers to invisible seam as mattress stitch.

Ok, well I liked the invisible stitch and I think it would be the easiest for me to do. However, Amy didn’t show how to start it, only how to do it. I’ve yet to sew anything together so this is all new.
I generally bring the yarn up from the back through one side and down through the other side and then back up through the first place again on the edge. Then I start doing the mattress stitch, and weave in my end later.
