I recently bought 3 fleeces, and with another one that is around 8 pounds on the way here, I have to make a little space.
I can part with up to 16 ounces each of washed Cormo lamb’s fleece, or adult fleece in natural white. I also have up to 8 ounces of Rambouillet fleece in colors ranging from charcoal to silver gray.
All the fleeces have been scoured. Please keep in mind that the lamb’s fleece will have milk tips that will have a different texture than the rest of the fleece and may still contain a bit of dirt/vm. The tips combs out completely clean and white.
All 3 of these fleeces have very little vm and are super soft and crimpy. I’m asking $14 plus postage for 4 ounces.
I have a few photos of the gray fleece from before it is washed here:
It is all scoured. I didn’t flick the Cormo lamb before washing(now I know for next time!), and the tips of that still have a bit of dirt that combs out easily.
The Rambouillet is really clean, it didn’t have the slightly clumped tips that the Cormo had. As you can see in the picture, there are a number of colors from dark charcoal to almost silver and even a little brown since it was a badger faced lamb.
By the way, you’re my trading partner in the fiber swap on Ravelry. I’m Lesleyluu over there.
