I was looking at ebay and they had some really good deals on knitting needles. I bid on some but was outbid last night. So this morning I happened to drive by a thrift shop and decided to stop in. I bought six pairs of 13" needles, one crochet hook, four stitch holders, and some stitch markers for under $10!!! I now have needles in size 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10, 10 1/2, 11, and 13! I just started knitting but it is so nice to have the needles for such a good price and not have to pay over $3 a pair at JoAnnes or Michaels.
I LOVE bargains like that. I hope those needles last you a lifetime!

Cool. What kind of needles are they? Straights or circulars, metal, plastic or wood?
straights, the size 13 are plastic, the rest are metal. 
Great score…almost all of my straight needle collection is from our nearby thrift store and I find alot of lace weight cone yarn there as well. Some of them have the original packaging and price labels are like $1.10! Imagine that! Knitters come and go, I guess!
