Help,
I have been trying all day to set the first few rows on a pattern from Knitted Lace of Estonia and have unravelled at least 30 times… I thought it was just slip two from the LH needle onto the RH needle but it does not work out. It may be because I usually knit patterns in French.

Thank you so much for your kind help. Had a quick look at the video and will try it tomorrow, but it makes sense so my problem is solved. I spent almost an hour with a calculator trying to resolve it. Never have I come across this stitch before.

In patterns I’ve done this is a pretty common decrease, maybe it’s an American thing. Anyhow, I’m glad you’ve got it now. If you’d like to post a picture when you’re done, we’d love to see.
