I have a pattern for a hat knit on round needles. Can I use the same pattern for straight needles? Thanks, Carolyn
You can, but round is so much easier Cast on two more stitches than the circular pattern calls for so you have those stitches to seam. Other than that, you can knit back and forth. Remember, though, that all rounds on circular patterns are the right side. You’ll have to reverse the direction and the stitches on the wrong side when you’re knitting straight.
