Knitting Mrs Moon’s cardigan, top down pattern. I removed the markers I had been moving along because I am at the divide for sleeves and back. Directions say, “Knit to first marker…etc and so forth. No markers…how to continue? Please! I really need help.
You might be able to work backwards from the number of stitches the pattern says you need to work the back and the sleeves.

Excellent suggestion! That is what I did and it worked
The next problem is do I just knit and purl as tho the stitch holders weren’t there, or do I tie on a separate ball of yarn?
Please be specific which part of the pattern are you referring to.
