Does anyone know of a cute scarf for someone in the Red Hat Society? Would fun fur in red and purple be a good choice?

I seem to recall the Lionbrand website having a bunch, but I can’t find them now. Might want to check there.

I found this, so you’re on the right track. The women that I know who participate in the Red Hat Society seem to like fun things, so I think it would be a great idea.
Thanks Mer. I’m in Lionbrand site right now!
I like that one! I have never seen that yarn in the stores though, so would have to order it online. That’s the kind of “fun” scarf I’m looking for.

When I first started knitting, I made a scarf for my mom’s friend Cathering (a.k.a “RedHatBabe” as her nickname is Babe). I used a Purple boucle and a Red eyelash (fun fur). She LOVED it! I am totally behind in a little stocking stuffer I intended to finish and give to my mom for Babe…it’s a Lion pattern for a fun fur makeup bag. My mom is a “glitzy” gramma and I made one is silver glitterspun and festive fur, and another in black. I’m doing one for Babe in red glitterspun and purple Bernat disco. The pattern is here
Binky, when you made the scarf, did you knit the two colors together at the same time? I love the little bag!
Jackie,
Yeppers, I used the two colors together. It gave it a nifty undertone of purple with the fun lashes of red. If I remember right I used size 19 needles and bout 8 stitches wide.
