I using magic loop for Cat Bordhi’s Columbine Peak socks. I such finished the gusset.
I have 18 knitted sts & 12 1x1 ribbing and 6 lace pattern on needle 1and the same on needle 2. A total of 72 sts.
The patterns states: “Rearrange the sts again to put all the ribbing and lace on instep needle and other sts on the sole needle”.
My instep needle looks fine. However, my problem is my working yarn is the middle of the 18 sts (36 sts sole needle). How do I fix this?
Thanks in advance.

I’d knit the stitches over.

What do you mean knit the sts over. Knit the sts over the 18 sts or tear my last row out and start again and rearrange the sts doing the last row?

I meant over to the other needle where the first set of stitches are now.
