Random thought re: time spent on this board

If I added up all the time I have spent reading and posting on these boards (not that I don’t love it here) I could have made an entire blanket (at my snail-speed of knitting)! Just saying… take time to actually KNIT! :XX: :rofling:

:roflhard: yep, that can be a problem. Just get a speech recognition program and you can “type” and knit at the same time :roflhard: :roflhard:

Seriously though, I’ve finally begun to limit my time a bit after a year of hanging around.

:smiley: I must say that I missed everyone when I was on the 2-3 months of bed rest…a wonderful group of people :wink:

It’s tough to negotiate knitting and the forum…and what’s even harder is working those two things into the rest of life–work, food, basic hygeine…

I usually read the board while I’m at work :rollseyes: so it doesn’t cut into my knitting time. :happydance:

I check the board several quick times a day both at work and home. What it does for me is make me want to knit!! :wink:

I tend to check at work for entertainment, and at home when I am in a 9-1-1 situation!

Get slow dial-up internet. When I had dial-up I could knit while I waited for the pages to load.

I’d have a much cleaner house :oops: if I spent less time here. But this is much more satisfying. lol :XX: :XX:

I read posts between rows sometimes. I knit a row, I read some posts. But I’m online allll the time when I’m not in class (which is probably bad, I know), so sometimes there ARE no new posts. Shocking, isn’t it? :shock:

Seems like I spend more time reading posts than knitting! I try to keep up with all the blogs, it seems like there is a new post every second! :roflhard:

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one with this “problem.” I read the posts & want to go knit, but can’t because it’s all so interesting! I’ve had to limit my time, though, along with other knitting forums & blogs. Otherwise, I’d never get anything else done! You guys just make it too much fun. :lol:
