Raglan decreases on V-neck cardigan

Back with the raglan questions sorry!

I’m making size 3 on this Sirdar pattern, this is the cardigan for my friend’s granddaughter.

  1. Am I right in assuming that when it says “raglan edge” it means the side I’ve just decreased by 3 stitches in the “shape raglan” section?

  2. Work 13 rows dec 1 st next and every foll alt row would be rows 1, 3, 5 etc?

  3. Dec 1 st in 3rd and every foll 4th row would be rows 3, 7, 11 etc?

I think I’ve got it but don’t want to spend time doing it wrong and having to correct myself as I have a few things on the go that I want/need to finish for Christmas…

Thanks in advance!

  1. Yes, the raglan edge is the edge that will be seamed to the sleeve. It’s the side where you’ve just decreased by 3 sts and the other end from the neck edge.
  2. Yes, rows 1,3,5, etc
  3. Yes, rows 3,7,11 etc
You’ve got this shaping all set.
