I am a beginner knitter and have not knit anything that wasn’t a rectangle YET. I have a new nephew coming in November and need something quick and easy to knit (besides washcloths - I’ve already knit up a bunch) as a shower gift. It can’t be TOO complicated. I can knitand purl and am currently in the middle of a basket weave baby blanket with basketweave border for another niece/nephew that is coming into the family in December.
