Hi everyone, I am wanting to knit a sweater, and I was just wondering at what point I should do the ribbing on it. Do I have to start out with the ribbing, or can I wait until I’ve reached the end of the piece?

Do u have a pattern to follow? Usually it will tell u when to do the ribbing. If u are making it up as u go along without a pattern, then I would say it all depends on how u make it. If u make a bottom-up sweater, then u would start with the ribbing. If u make a top-down one then u would end with ribbing. So it all depends.
