Sorry, I am kind of new to knitting.
So this pattern calls to start off in the round (which I am comfortable doing) but it says to purl in the round too…Does that mean I purl like I would if I was using straight needles??

Yeah, purling is purling…regardless if working ‘back and forth’ or ‘in-the-round’. However, of course, you must use circular needles (or a set of double point needles) for knitting ‘in-the-round’.
