I’m just trying to crochet the Fawn out of the Book Amigurumi!: Super Happy Crochet Cute, and I’m stuck on rounds 20-24…
I’ve got 42 stitches and it says
round 20-24 invdec 6 sc evenly spaced (12st at the end of round 24)
I’m just having trouble calculating out all the stitches :oops:
Could anyone help me please? :sad:

I’m assuming your are starting round 20 with 42 stitches, yes?
If that’s the case, you will decrease 6 stitches evenly across, so that means you would make a decrease every 7 stitches (42 divided by 6).
On the next row, you will have 36 stitches, so when you divide 36 by 6, you get 6. So you would make a decrease every 6 stitches.
And so on.
Also, you count roundss 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24, so you’re decreasing 6 stitches on 5 rounds = 30 total decreases.
