Please help. I’m stuck.:knitting:

I am knitting a vest and the pattern had me put some stitches on a spare needle. Now, the pattern says to knit using those extra stitches. I have to incorporate new yarn into those stitches. I was wondering how I attach the yarn or if I just start knitting with the new yarn and not tie a knot.

Just start knitting with the new yarn, leaving a longish tail that you’ll weave in later. Do the same as if you’re starting a new skein.
