Most of you are already aware of our Oddball projects in the Charity section of the forum.
Recently, we completed one of our Oddball Shawls, and presented it to one of our forum members, who was going through a difficult time in her life.
There were 6 forum members involved in the project, and it was a lot of fun!

You know what? I want to be a shawl wearer. It totally doesn’t fit my aesthetic or my style, but I suddenly LOVE them and want one just for me.
I haven’t made one before because I have never worn one before…but I think it’s about to change.

What a beautiful shawl. I got tears in my eyes thinking about how thoughtful the other forum members are here. How many other forums would be that caring and thoughtful?
The shawl and recipient are lovely, and the kindness and thoughtfulness of the knitters is heart-warming!
I feel the same way! I never imagined that I would ever want to wear a shawl, but the way they showcase beautiful yarn makes me change my mind.
