I think I’ve seen some discussion about cotton blends that do nicely for sweaters, but i cannot find it. I plan to make wallabys for my grand-daughters, but want them to be cotton for spring and fall use. they all live in Virginia, so a cotton-wool blend won’t really do, unless I cannot find something better. I know that cotton alone will stretch. Does anyone have any suggestions about a blend that you like?
I don’t know if it’s in your gauge and price range, but I just knitted up a sample of Debbie Bliss Cathay and looooooved it! It felt so good and the stitch definition was wonderful. I’ve been keeping my eye out for a sale on it.
It’s made of 50% Cotton, 35% Viscose microfibre, 15% Silk.
