Prayer Shawl

This is one version of a prayer shawl I found that I would like to make. Will the edges curl if I knit as is?

Cast on 63 stitches.
Row 1: * Knit 3, purl 3; repeat from *, end knit 3.
Row 2: Knit.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until piece measures 80 in. [205 cm] from beginning. Bind off.

I see no reason why it would curl. Row 2 is garter and there is no stock st anywhere else.

I’ve made many, many prayer shawls with that basic pattern, and it doesn’t curl at all. I make mine with Homespun–57 stitches on size 13 needles, about 65 inches long, plus fringe. They are very cozy.

Thanks! I am looking forward to casting on. I found some Karabella Melange verigated and I think it will make a beautiful shawl
