I knit this from the Doggie Poop Bag Holder by Alana McCawley. i kinda had to make up a few parts of it and i changed how she did the button and bags holes. i have no idea what this yarn is or where it came from, but it came out cute i think.
What a clever idea! Unfortunately, I would need an extra large bag for my two extra large retrievers! :shock:
it’s a decent size, i fit about a half dozen folded up regular sandwich bags in it.
Oh it’s a “Poopie BAG Holder”… I thought you meant you crammed the bag full of poo in there. Ick. 
The bag is cute though!
i made it vague in purpose, just to see what kinda of response i would get :shrug:

I’ve seen someone in my area walking her dog. She stopped to ‘scoop’ the poo into a plastic bag, put it down, and walked on. I wondered, “HUH? Why stop to scoop it, bag it, and then leave it?”
Well, later I had my answer! I happened to be in the same vicinity a while later, and saw her and her dog coming back from wherever they walked to! She bent down and picked up her ‘package’, and walked on!
So, she was just leaving it there while she was finishing her walk, and picked it up on her way home! OY! How nice if she’d had the little knitted poo holder! No odors, no unsightly visual!
And no ‘inquiring minds’!!
Clever and cute! At first I thought: a bag for the dog to wear around its bottom end? Phew, glad to have it cleared up.
well my mom took the girls for a long walk over the weekend and discovered that the bag as a lot of give to it… i was informed it holds 4 “full” bags. sometimes my mom says to much.
LOL, it’s a cute bag and whatever you do with the poo, I’m just glad to hear you are scooping it. That’s the kind of pet owner we need more of.
