Prayers of strength and healing going out to the whole family from here too. Along with lots of love and some tears of sympathy. Nothing hurts a parent more than an injury to their child.
Ditto the Shriner’s being great…they’ll take excellent care of the lad there.

I would like to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers & well wishes! We are holding on as best we can. Austin is stable - it was touch & go for awhile. We will be transporting to the Shriner’s hospital in Cincinatti Ohio this afternoon - they specialize in burns there. I will be going with Austin initially - dad will stay behind to take care of things. Austin is being kept heavily sedated to keep him calm. Keeping his BP up has been a hard battle. We have many many surgeries to look forward to as the burns are very severe & skin grafting will be necessary but difficult b/c of how much of his body was burned. As soon as I know an adress to give I will send it to Auburnchick. I’m on the hospital computer at UVA now but don’t know when I will be able to get back online after today. Again thank you to everyone for the moral support - you guys are great!
