On March 17th my daughter was diagnosed with 2 kinds of Leukemia. She has CML (chronic) in her blood and ALL (Acute) in her bone marrow. At first they thought it was AML in her bone marrown and then soon discovered that it is ALL. She is 34 years old. She had her first round of chemo last week. She will do chemo again tomorrow. On Wednesday she will have another bone marrow biopsy and hopefully it will be in remission. Please pray that it is in remission and then she can start the next phase which is a bone marrow transplant and then hopefully we will be done with it.

Hang in there and I’ll be keeping you both in my thoughts & prayers.
ETA- I would encourage everyone to go to www.marrow.org & see about registering as a marrow donor. I was selected for the 2nd round of screening for a 27 yr old man with ALL- but I didn’t end up matching him closely enough. If they call me again- I will be a perfect match.

Mary, I am so sorry about this. All of you will be in my prayers. Please keep us posted.

You’ve got the prayers from me. Hang in there, mom…
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts

Mary, Your daughter and family will be in my prayers.
Thoughts and prayers to your daughter and family.
We have a friend who was diagnosed about the same age while on his honeymoon ! He is alive and well today.
So sorry to hear your news.
to you and your daughter.

Mary, I’m so sorry to read this, your family is in my prayers, please keep us updated
My brother was diagnosed with Myleodysplastic Syndrome a couple of years ago, they ended up finding him a 10 out of 10 blood donor match. He is back to work and so far, his numbers are, if not normal, very close to it. I will pray that your daughter gets the same!

I’m so sorry to hear, you’re all in my thoughts.
I am so sorry, mama. My DD was dx last year (she’s 9 and has Down syndrome). It’s a rough road, but I’ll be praying for her.
You may want to check out acor.org for a chat site for support and info (she may want to as well…)
Hugs and prayers.
Your daughter, you and all your (and her) family are in my prayers.

Mary, I’m so sorry to hear this news. Your daughter and the rest of your family will be in our prayers. I’ll also put her name on our church prayer chain.
