Hi all, I’m new to the forum and would desperately like some help.
I just can’t understand row 8 at all, I cannot for the life of me work out what to do when it says rib2tog that will result in me decreasing by 30 stitches by the end of the row.
Can anyone work it out, I feel so stupid.
TIA
Welcome!
You’ll be decreasing 22sts across the row (212-190). The first dec is a p2tog and for the “rib 2 together”. work the dec as either a k2tog or p2tog, depending on the sts that need to be decreased.
It’s a very good question on something that is often confusing. Don’t hesitate to ask, ever.
Hi Salmonmac and thank you for your speedy response, that makes sense now, uurgh, I knew it would be obvious!
I can see the light now!
