How do you pick a dropped yarn over stitches. For the life of me, I can’t figure it out. All I get is what looks like ladders. Anyone know the technique to pick up a dropped yarn over stitch?:

Go to the lowest st(s) that is correct. Orientate your needles (either the ones on the project or some smaller other needles) & put those st(s) on the needle & begin recreating row by row, st by st including the yos. If you orientate the yo incorrectly, you’ll know when you turn your work and begin to work that st in the recreation. This can be slow going, but it’s saved me a lot of

It’s just a matter of putting your needle under the yarn where the YO should be. I had to do this MANY time lately, I JUST finished my Oblique Cardigan and was tickled to death each time I realized could do this even going back several rows w/o having to frog the rows.
You might try making a swatch and testing yourself on it and you will see how easy it is once you get the hang of it.
With dropped yarn overs, I just frog to the last lifeline (yes, I use lifelines :D)… lately I was too lazy to do that, so I just picked up a stitch, because I lost one with a double yo, didn’t turn out like it should, but not that bad either.
