So i get the whole concept to why you need to pick up stitches to knit the thumb… but ive tried looking it up but all the explaination are all not getting through to me D:
my cast ons were backward loop… i’m 99.99% sure xD

You need to pick up the stitches at the base of the thumb to avoid a hole and to make sure you have enough stitches.

Oh, I am glad I when searching if anyone asked something that I was having a problem with. Hopefully when I get to the thumb part, I’ll be able to do it, I can’t mess up in the gloves, even though it’s my first time, I don’t want to start over.
