You’ll love this style of knitting - and if you want to try it now, you can use a coilless safety pin as the knitting pin. It’s what I use when I need an extra one!
That is just fascinating! I avoid purling when I can (English style) because it hurts if I do it too much. I need to try this when I get some gumption up! Thanks for sharing!
If you are doing a project or row entirely in purl stitch, you may want to give this a try. I learned how to purl continental and at some point transitioned to this technique. I didn’t even realize I had made the shift until I saw this video.
I have the entire body of Knitting Daily TV DVD sets, and I’ve watched this style of knitting (using knitting pins) being demonstrated a couple of time, at great length! It is amazning! It looks so easy! Well, it really is easy! You just have to become accustomed to it, as with anything new! Thanks for sharing this, Claire!
