Pattern needed: bulky weight women's sweater

I got a great deal on some yarn on ebay, but I made the purchase without a real plan for how to use the yarn. The yarn has been discontinued so there are no new patterns written specifically for it. Here are the details:

Reynolds Contessa
50% lambswool, 30% angora, 20% nylon
14 sts and 20 rows = 4" in St st on #10 needle

I really wanted to make a sweater for me with this yarn, but I’m having trouble finding a pattern… I’d appreciate any suggestions, or general thoughts on what yarns this yarn could sub for…

Thanks,
Becky

If you’re into buying books, or if you are able to borrow from a library, you should check out “The Yarn Girls’ Guide to Simple Knits”, there are lots of different women’s pullover and cardigan style sweaters that are all written for bulky/chunky yarns.

:roflhard: That’s exactly what I was going to say!

Guess I’ll have to add that one to my library reserve list:)
