Can someone help.
I have a pattern that says increase both ends of next and following 7th alt row , and then following 46th rows. Until 201 stitches.
Does that mean the 7th , 14th , 21 st row ?
Then what does the 46th row s?
Welcome to KH!
Call the next row, row 1. Then increase at both ends of row 1 and row 15 then on row 61, 117, 163 and so on until you have 201sts.
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Hi sorry , I still don’t understand that.
It’s a rowen pattern ,
Charisma, this is how it’s written. Im doing the first size/
Work in rib for a further 20 rows, ending with RS facing for next row.
Now work in patt as folls:
Row 1 (RS): K3, *yfwd, K2tog, K3, rep from * to end.
Row 2: *P4, K1, rep from * to last 3 sts, P3.
Row 3: K3, *K2tog, yfwd, K3, rep from * to end.
Row 4: P3, *K1, P4, rep from * to end.
These 4 rows form patt.
Keeping patt correct, inc 1 st at each end of next and foll 7 [12: 10: 10: 9] alt rows,
then on foll 46 [40: 44: 44: 48] rows, taking inc sts into patt and ending with Ws
201 |209: 223: 233: 249] sts.
Thank you
OK, that’s slightly different.
Increase at each end of the next row, call it row 1 and then every other row 7 times. That’s rows 1,3,5,7,9,11,13 and 15.
Then increase on every row until 201 sts total. That’s rows 16,17,18,19,20,21 and so on until you have 201sts. End having completed a WS row.
Ah that makes sense now.
Thank you so much ![]()
