Pattern help

I started a new ripple blanket but as I was working on it, it was growing width wide. I think I’m adding an extra stitch somewhere.

This the main row pattern…I think I’m adding something at the end.

DC into the first st (your chain two and your first DC are worked into the same stitch) and in the next four stitches. DC2tog twice. dc in the next four stitches. Work 2 dc into the next 2 stitches. DC in the next 4 stitches. DC2tog twice at the end of the row, finish with one DC in the next four stitches and 2 dc in the top of your turning chain. Ch 2, turn.

Any help or input would b appreciated!

Count your increases and decreases. There should be the same number of each. It’s not a complicated pattern once you get it going and it’s obvious where the increases and decreases go, but it’s hard to get a ripple started sometimes.

If you think it will help, use some safety pins and mark where the increases and decreases go (I’d pin between the ones on the previous row.) Move them up as you go along and as you’re sure it’s coming out right.
