Pattern help

I am working on a Norah Gaughan sweater (Niche)…it is worked in one piece. I am increasing…and the pattern calls for me to K1 M1 …but the beginning of the row is a cable pattern…

Without the increase, the row would me knit as:
(Yo, k3tog, yo, k6) yo. How do I k1 m1

Thanks so much for any help!

This is the pattern

Thanks so much

It seems that it’s just this one row that will cause a problem and after that you’ll be able to increase in the k1, M1 and following sts. You could increases at the end of the last row to give yourself a knit stitch before the yo’s and cable or you could backwards loop cast on 2 sts at the beginning of this row. It looks like there’s a line of crochet maybe around the neck which will help smooth out this little jog to start the increases.
