i urgently need help with this new pattern of mine please…

cast on 7 sts
k1 row (done)
p1 row (done)
(k1, inc.in next stitch) 3times, K1 - 10 sts (i think i hav done this correctly i have ended up with 10 stitches)
work 3 rows (im not sure what to do now)
(inc. 1) twice, K1 (inc. 1) 4 times K1 (inc.1) twice - 18 sts (i do understand what this line means however its the 18 sts part whichthrowes me out because when i tried it i ended up with more so i presume its the work 3 rows i have done incorrectly)

When you work the 3 rows, you don’t do any increases. So you’ll kfb kfb, k1, kfb kfb kfb kfb, k1 kfb kfb. That uses 10 sts and leaves you with 18.

those 3 rows you just work “plain”. Just knit the knits and purl the purls. In your case: knit on right side, purl on wrong side.
That is all you need to do.

Then when you get to that new line you still have 10 stitches. Then: do what suzee said and you end up with 18 stitches after that row.
