Pattern Help

I’m working a top down sweater pattern for my 2T girl, and am wondering how to read part of the “Setup.” It says to:
Continue working back and forth in stockinette stitch increasing (kfb) in first
and last stitch of every RS row 10 (10, 11) times and at the same time work
raglan shaping as follows:
Increase (kfb) before and after each
marker every RS row 16 (18, 16) times

So, does this mean that I’ll do the side shaping for a total of 10 rows and the raglan shaping for 16… or do I do the increasing a total of 10 times and 16 times for a total of 20 and 32rows?

Thanks for your help!

I read it like this: For the first 10 RS rows you’ll do the edge and raglan increases, and for the next 6 RS rows, you’ll just do raglan increases.

SO, for 10 RS rows, that would make 20 rows total? Right? Sorry to want so much clarification, but I’ve only been knitting 2 months…

Yes, that would be a total of 20 rows. You are working the increases every right side row which is the same as saying every other row.

Just to clarify, you will have 20 rows when you finish the edge increases, but you will still have 6 more rows of just raglan increases, for a total of 32 rows. Make sense?
