I am working on a pattern and have become stuck! The instructions say, dec 4-6-3-1 evenly - what does that mean?
It may be based on sizes. Can you please post the name and a link to your pattern?

Jan’s right, it’s the number of sts to decrease for your given size. So the the smallest size dec 4sts approximately evenly spaced across the row.
